Emergency Chitosan Hemostasis Gauze

Description

Composition:
The product consists of chitosan hemostatic powder and non-woven fabric, with the chitosan powder adhered to the fabric.

Scope of Application
It is used as the emergency treatment for stopping bleeding from open body surface wounds
resulted from various kinds of traumas. For example, it is used for bleeding control for a severe
wound (contusion, incised injuries, lacerations, stab wounds, etc.), or the emergency bleeding
control for such body surface wounds as small cuts and wounds. It shall not be used for any
chronic wound.

Application Method
1. Tear the package and take the First Aid Chitosan Hemostatic Gauze out. Clear away any blood at the wound as much as possible. Cover the bleeding site using the First
Aid Chitosan Hemostatic Gauze. When the bleeding area is rather large, the First Aid Chitosan
Hemostatic Gauze can be spread to an appropriate size and cover the entire bleeding site using the
gauze. 3. Press the wound continuously until the bleeding is controlled. 4. If necessary, dress the wound with gauze to maintain the local pressure. 5. If the injury is severe and the bleeding cannot be satisfactorily controlled with a single
application, a new piece of First Aid Chitosan Hemostatic Gauze can be applied to replace the
original one for controlling the bleeding. 6. If any further surgery operation is required for the treatment of the wound, dress the wound
temporarily with the First Aid Chitosan Hemostatic Gauze after the bleeding is stopped and
remove the dressing with normal saline before the operation. VI. Precautions
1. This product is for external use only and cannot be administered orally. Avoid contacting the
eye. 2. After the bleeding is stopped using this product, perform such medical treatments as wound
cleaning using the normal saline. 3. This product is a kind of sterile product. Do not use it if the package is damaged. 4. This product can be used for only once after the package is open. Discard any unused product
after the bag is open. 5. Please seek the advice from a doctor if this product is to be used together with any other
